Topic: Conservation and Orchid Propagation with Plant Regulators/Hormones (also available in PowerPoint presentation;see web site )

Biography: I have been growing orchidsfor over 25 years and am actively involved in the development and care of the New World Orchid Species Collection at the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG), Burlington, Ontario Canada. I was one of the original founders of the Orchid Society of the RBG and have contributed both on and off of the executive since its inception in 1980. For many years I taught a course at the society on "Getting Started with Orchids."

A retired university professor from McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario), my speaking engagements in the orchid world have offered many opportunities to travel. I have lectured on various aspects of orchid culture in Europe, Australia, Venezuela, the United States and, of course, Canada.

I do not have plants for sale, but produce and market the many products offered by Plant Hormones Canada. A manual and presentation regarding conservation and orchid propagation using these products is also available on CD-ROM. It includes notes and images designed for society presentations (a PowerPoint reader is also included).

Current schedule is fluid. Honorarium is $100 plus travel expenses.
